Harbour and Ship Crane Boom Ropes
There are 3 types of constructions available for boom rope, 8 strand PIR (plastic impregnated rope) for guided systems only; 9 strand PIR rope which is a high performance fully compacted rope and lastly 8 strand parallel closed ropes for where high breaking strengths are needed but must be continuously anchored at both ends under tension.

Available in diameters from 16mm to 32mm. Each of the 8 compacted strands has 26 wires. 7x7 compacted inner core.

Available in diameters from 34mm to 58mm. 8 compacted outer strands of 31 wires with a 7x17 compacted core.
